The motto of the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is to impart high quality education and treatment in the specialty of Orthodontics in an ethical manner with Interdisciplinary Team Approach especially for the Rural & Semi urban population.

The Department is well equipped with state of the art infrastructure for BDS degree course. We believe in 4D principles which stand for discipline, direction, dedication and determination.

The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. They are trained from various schools of thoughts of Orthodontics, thereby inculcating the best of all this in teaching and training programs of our department. The staff of the department have been attending various conferences and CDE programme to enrich their knowledge. The department organizes CDE programmes on regular basis which are attended and appreciated by various participants.

The department has always strived to teach beyond syllabus, keeping in trend with the current research. We give adequate priority to recent advances like Lingual Orthodontics, Micro-Implants, Orthognathic Surgeries.
