World No Tobacco Day | 31 May 2023

This year marks the theme of ‘Grow food, not tobacco’ on World No Tobacco Day.

Celebrations started at Bangarpet Bus Depot, KGF by final year BDS students performing a street play, a street dance and an awareness talk highlighting the environmental and health risks associated with growing and using tobacco among the general public.

Students spread the message about the importance of ‘World No Tobacco Day’ with antismoking and anti-tobacco slogans in the placards, posters and banners to the public passing by insisting them choose life not tobacco.

Swatch Bharath Pakhwada initiative programme | 30 May 2023

As part of Swatch Bharath Pakhwada initiative programme, Van Mahotsav and plastic free campus celebration was observed at college premises on May 30, 2023 to practice eco-friendly ways to conserve the environment. The purpose was to instill social responsibility among students to save plants and trees to safeguard the effect of urbanization and deforestation

Dr. Sowmya kote inaugurated the event. Dr. Rashmi enlightened the significance of the event to keep the environment healthy. Staff, students and interns participated by planting different varieties of plant Saplings and watering the plants Along with art and photography, it was made a joyful one Emphasis was made on clean and green India to save mother earth

Our College Graduation Day

Graduation ceremony for outgoing batch was conducted in the month of November at KGF college of dental sciences auditorium.

It was a grand successes and parents from different parts of India had attended, Principal of Rajiv Gandhi Dental College Dr .Shashank was the chief guest .And outgoing students were awarded with degree and meritorious certificate, Management of our Dental college gave away scholarships to the best out going students.

Hands on Workshop

The Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics conducted a CDE program and Hands on workshop on “FROM ACCESS TO FORAMEN MODERN PRACTICALS FOR ENDODONTIC SUCCESS” on 08-03-2018 at the KGF College auditorium collaboration with Kavo Kerr a German company which is a pioneer in dental research Dr. Raghoothama Rao was the key note speaker participants were awarded certificates.
